Exceptional AXA Schengen measures
To support you during this period, we are implementing the following exceptional measure :
Exceptional extension of assistance coverage :
You were already in Europe 28 February, when the conflict began. If you are unable to return home as initially planned and your policy is approaching its end date, your AXA Schengen assistance benefits will be exceptionally extended – at no extra cost - until March the 15, even if the original trip date has passed. Exceptional refunds in case of flight cancellation :
If you are unable to travel because your airline has cancelled your flight, we will exceptionally proceed with a full refund of your insurance policy.
To process your request, please contact us through this form : Cancel my policy (and click on : click here to request cancellation of your policy) to provide us with: the official proof of cancellation from the airline, and your original ticket, as well as the new ticket if a rebooking has been issued.
Recommendations
Regularly check the travel advisories issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or equivalent governmental authority) in your country of residence.
Consider postponing or adjusting your travel plans if the security situation
along your route requires it.
